Course Description:
Learn Outlook from the comfort of your office or home.

This two-hour Live Instructor-led course will give you the basics for using Outlook to create emails, organize email messages, schedule appointments and meetings and navigate Outlook.

If you are new to Outlook or have been using Outlook for a while and are looking for shortcuts, this class is for you.
 
Prerequisites
To ensure success, students will need to be familiar with using personal computers and should have experience using a keyboard and mouse. Also, students should be familiar with opening and closing applications, navigating basic file structures, and managing files and folders.

Course Outline:

  • Work with Basic Views – change views, use the Navigation Pane, Reading Pane and To-Do bar
  • Compose Mail – Attachments and signatures
  • Work with Distribution lists
  • Organize Mail – Create folders, move and delete messages
  • Set the Out of Office Assistant
  • Find Messages – Instant Search, Search Folders, People Pane, Conversation View
  • Work with Notes
  • Use Drag & Drop – easily work with Contacts, Calendar, Notes and Tasks
  • Schedule Meetings – schedule, respond, track and cancel meetings
  • Share your Calendar– Open a User’s calendar, view multiple calendars
