Stephen Fry
Stephen Fry is the President and Co-Founder of Spindustry. Steve is passionate about working with business leaders to grow their organizations.
Steve co-founded Spindustry in 1996, after working in insurance and international sales. Since then, Steve has been leading Spindustry, growing it into a national leader of custom eCommerce, SharePoint and enterprise web solutions.
When not working, Steve loves aviation, travel and golf. He and his wife, Jan, have visited more than 60 countries. When asked, he'll say his favorite cities are Sydney, Dubrovnik, Shanghai, Honolulu, Dubai and Vancouver, but like his kids, he loves all the places he goes. He’s been known to travel around-the-world in a week and fly to Auckland and Sydney for long weekends.
Steve serves on several non-profit boards and though not a native Iowan he is deeply committed to promoting Iowa to everyone. As a serial entrepreneur, Steve understands what it takes to grow a successful organization. He brings those skills to client strategy sessions and to speaking venues, where he shares his vision for how life will be in the future.
Accolades for Steve include Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Finalist, member of the Des Moines Business Record’s Forty Under 40 class and graduate of the Leadership Iowa program. He’s also been involved in EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) and WEO (World Entrepreneur Organization).
Steve and his business partner, Michael Bird, co-authored a book on digital opportunities for manufacturers entitled Run, Grow, Transform: A Manufacturer’s Guide to Digital Marketing.
