The Spindustry Digital team has been actively participating, planning and preparing for events.
We recently held our first Inbound Marketing summit, educating business leaders, marketers and development staff on what is inbound marketing, the content consumer, why websites fail and social media success. The event received rave reviews and we’re coordinating efforts to continue sharing inbound insight with future events.
Angela Ten Clay of TMG Financial Services said, "The #spinbound Inbound Marketing Event provided me with key takeaways that I could quickly implement back at the office. The session reminded me that the way we consume information is changing, so it's imperative to engage with the consumer in the right space to increase brand awareness. The team at Spindustry Digital was engaging and energetic and presented a great approach to inbound marketing and the available channels to utilize depending on your business' needs."
Our team also participated in the Iowa Association of Business and Industry’s (ABI) annual conference. Stephen Fry and Jason LaCava presented “Building a Successful Lead Generation Campaign” to ABI members. In case you missed it, you can watch the highlights from their presentation on our blog.
We were also present at the Digital Summit in Denver, taking in the latest insight and trends into content marketing, email marketing, social engagement and visual engagement (video, images and infographics). Jessica Plunkett, Senior Digital Strategist at Spindustry, said, “There was a lot of passion and energy at this event around visual engagement. If video and images aren’t a core piece of your marketing plan, you’re not going to capture the attention of anyone new or retain your current audience.”
Spindustry will be a speaker at two client events this summer. On July 17, 2014, Claire Celsi, Director of Public Relations, will speak to a group of communications professionals at a staff retreat for our client Corn Belt Power Cooperative. Inbound marketing and especially social media will be the topics of discussion.
In August, Spindustry will be the presenter at two gatherings of female landowners and entrepreneurs in a partnership with the Iowa Department of Agriculture. The focus of the events is to help women understand the digital landscape and how they can participate.
