Women of Innovation Spindustry Finalists 10/24/2012
Each year the Technology Association of Iowa hosts the Women of Innovation Awards, celebrating women who have been outstanding leaders and innovators in the fields of: science, technology, engineering and math. This year, Spindustry Digital has the grand honor of announcing two employee finalists.
Angela Culbertson, Spindustry Digital’s chief financial officer, is a finalist in the Business Innovation and Leadership category recognizing her leadership building the digital marketing firm and for her role as general manager of Spindustry Training. “I am very fortunate to be part of a great company and the many opportunities I have at Spindustry. Thank you to Michael Bird and Stephen Fry for their support and confidence in me over the years.”
Jessica Plunkett, senior digital strategist at Spindustry Digital, is a finalist in the Rising Star category, recognizing her as an up-and-comer in the technology industry for her strategy work, specifically with Tyson Foods. “It’s such an honor to be nominated for an award that recognizes women in technology. I’m very fortunate to work in an environment that welcomes exploration and creativity, as well as pushing the envelope. Thank you to the Spindustry Digital management team for creating this atmosphere for all of our team members.”
Both women have dedicated their time and talents to Spindustry Digital and have gone above and beyond to help our clients achieve their aspirations. Not only are we all very excited and proud to have Angela and Jessica as finalists of such prestigious awards, but to also have two excellent candidates as advocates for women leaders and visionaries in the technology industry. Congratulations to you both!
Winners from each category will be announced during the 2012 DuPont Pioneer Women of Innovation Awards Dinner held at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown on November 15 from 5-8 pm.
