My Plan After 50, powered by Employee & Family Resources (EFR), provides information surrounding the eight elements essential for a vibrant life after 50.
Challenge
EFR, who has partnered with Spindustry on several initiatives, wanted a website that was educational but created a social network for those entering or in retirement. The site had to be easy to navigate and viewable by an older audience.
Solution
Spindustry has built many social networking components into websites so they leveraged that knowledge for the My Plan After 50 site. Users are able to fill out profile information including their hobbies and interests and previous work experience and then search for friends who have similar interests. Additionally, members are able to access special articles, webinars, links, and workbooks.
Results
People of all ages and backgrounds have joined the My Plan After 50 community. Members provide positive feedback regarding the available resources and planning tools for life after 50, as well as the new relationships they’ve built with new friends!
