West Des Moines, Iowa based Chocolate Storybook, a chocolate gift company, approached Spin Ventures with an idea. They wanted to grow their corporate sales to include clients beyond central Iowa by exploring the Internet. Spin Ventures liked the Chocolate Storybook story, team and ideas so we agreed to enter into a joint venture, targeting corporate buyers of logo’d chocolate gift products. Combining Chocolate Storybook’s access to high quality products at very competitive pricing and experience in fulfilling large corporate orders and Spin Venture’s access to the Spindustry group of companies has made for a great success story.
In the fall of 2008 Spindustry Interactive built the new LogosOnChocolate website and online store, offering visitors a complete range of delicious gift ideas that can accommodate any budget. Within days of launch the new site had attracted corporate orders for chocolate gifts from across the country. “The exciting thing is that once an organization chooses to work with us they will love our products and our service so much that they will work with us long into the future,” says Steve Shearer, co-owner of LogosOnChocolates and the Chocolate Storybook. “We know now that this new site will build revenue exponentially as new clients find us now and use us for their corporate gift needs next year and the year after,” says Shearer.
